We noticed the cockerel has been very wobbly recently, spending a lot of time sitting down and having trouble keeping his balance.
We are thinking he has got bumblefoot, and it looks quite advanced. According to the article there it looks like we may have to surgically operate on him.
We have isolated and quarantined him. He seems to be quite happy, letting us apply neem and tea tree oils to his feet, legs and even comb. He has been eating lots as I think he got a bit hungry not being able walk to compete for the food.
